- Flat — fewer levels in the hierarchy
- Responsive — minimizes bureaucracy, enables rapid decisions, and optimized for action
- Sensible — practical, logical, and readily understandable by employees
- Stable — built to last, doesn’t have to change frequently, and can endure inevitable evolution of the company
