Articulate your vision for how the ESN should work

  1. Define compelling use cases
  2. Tell stories to inspire people to use the ESN
  3. Make the business case
  4. Sell the benefits to individuals and the organization, including answering the question “what’s in it for me?”
  5. Motivate participation through goals, incentives, recognition, and rewards
  6. Lead by example, and get senior leaders to do so as well
  7. Collect and promote success stories taken from the ESN
