• Use language concisely, correctly, and clearly
• Avoid jargon, corporate speak, and buzzwords

Leaders tell stories to:

• Motivate others to action
• Get others working together
• Create and share a unifying vision

They lead by example. Leaders:

• Model desired behaviors
• Practice what they preach
• Convey optimism by their actions
